In 2015 I made my annual trip to the NC Zoo in May. It takes about 5 hours to see everything. I always enjoy my visit as the scenery is beautiful and the wildlife exhibits are educational. With the open habitats, if strangers were dropped unawares into the park, they wouldn’t realize it was actually a zoo until they encountered the animals.
